Common questions
Can I get a quote from photos?
Yes. Send photos of the tree or site and your postcode on WhatsApp. For smaller domestic jobs that often gives us enough to give you an idea of cost; for larger or more complex work we’ll arrange a site visit.
Do I need permission to cut down or prune my tree?
Possibly. Trees covered by a Tree Preservation Order, or in a conservation area, need consent from your local council before most work. We check this before we quote.
Can you work on trees during bird nesting season?
Often, yes. Nesting birds are protected by law, so during the nesting season we check trees before starting and adjust or delay the work if we find an active nest.
What happens to the wood and branches?
Branches are chipped on site and taken away unless you’d like to keep the chip. Logs can be left for you, cut to size, or removed.
Do you only do large commercial jobs?
No. We have the machinery for big sites, but a single garden tree gets the same care and the same crew.
